After much deliberation with myself, I decided I wanted to start a blog for us! We all know life can be so busy, and we've found it hard to keep in constant touch with our friends and family on a regular basis. This is where, I hope, I can post about what's going on in our lives, share pictures of our adventures and projects, and overall inform the general public (or at least the ones who are interested) about things we may not all get to talk about specifically when we do get a chance to catch up. I've always enjoyed reading the blogs of friends of ours, so I think it's time for us to start, too!
Welcome to what, I hope, will be somewhat informative for you. Although I can't make any promises about our level of "interesting," I am going to make a goal for myself to make updates anyway!
I'll start with answering everyone's favorite questions these days. Those questions are:
1. How is married life?
2. Does it feel any different?
I've always asked those questions to newlyweds, usually the latter being answered with "not really." But for me, if I really truly think about it, it does feel different. Matt put it perfectly once when someone asked him this question. His response was "there just seems to be more love." It is so true. There is something about simply living together that is pretty special, but the day after our wedding when we came back into the apartment we had been living in for almost a year and a half, our apartment seemed more like a home. Although we got engaged before we moved in together and the sense of commitment was already there, being married is the ultimate promise to work toward a common goal. There is no longer just one of us-- it is two of us from here on out. Every decision we make is for the both of us and for the bettering of our family. Yes, we are still in the silly stage where we call each other "husband" and "wife," sometimes followed by a giggle, but I'm going to try my hardest to never forget how special that sounds. I've said it before and I will say it again-- it is an honor and privilege to be married to Matt. I can honestly say in just these (almost) three short months, I can see a positive change in our relationship. Being married is the best, and I am so anxious to see what our future brings us.
And now, for your viewing pleasure, a few wedding pictures!

Okay first of all, no comments yet? Tragic! Although I am honored to be your first comment! What a fabulous description of marriage. Really, it is such a great description. Also, I looked very closely at your layout and notice ALL the little touches of orange and gray on this blog. It is perfect and definitely fitting. You better believe this will be on my top sites shortly. LOVE YOUUUUUUU!!!! (The vous form that is.)
